1.      Communication

V: This is something necessary for any business to succeed.

R: Not everyone has this skill in fact many lack proper communication skills.

I: Everyone is different so there are communication skills making everyone unique and non-substitutable.

N: People can communicate but doesn’t mean they are doing it in a way the customer understands.

2.      Banking Experience

V: This allows me to better understand how to make a legitimate business in Florida.

R: Not everyone has the knowledge or experience.

I: Only those that have worked in a bank know the process and actually worked with business accounts.

N: Without working through the process and dealing with the requirements it can’t be done any other way.

3.      Connections

V: Connecting can be good to accomplish goals or increase sales.

R: Connections are hard to come by especially useful ones.

I: No one has the same connections each person has their very own network.

N: It takes a long time to build these and cannot be substituted.

4.      Persuasion

V: Can convince people to join your cause or gain a client.

R: Connections are hard to come by especially useful ones.

I: No one has the same connections each person has their very own network.

       N: Someone that is convincing is hard to replace because not everyone has the knack for it.

5.      Physical property

V:  A base of operations, storages, or practice area.

R: Most people have to look for a place to either purchase or rent.

I:  If I own it that means no one else can use it without my consent.

N: Each piece of property is unique with different terrains and designs therefore not easily substitutable.

6.       Local computer techs

        V: They can fix/ repair my drones and software whether it’s for bugs or installation.

        R: Not everyone has someone to fix their products locally and promoting local economy.

        I: If I contact them to work for me then other companies can’t use their services.

    N: It’s convenient to go down the road to have a product fixed or services, this is something most               would have to send off for.



7.      Diverse Knowledge set

V: Allows me to strike a conversation with almost anyone and shows that I have the capability of completing the task at hand.

R: They call it a jack of all trades someone that can pick up and do something, maybe not perfect but adequate.

I: No one retains the same information and what I’ve learned over my lifetime is completely unique from everyone else.

N: Since no two people’s minds work the same they can’t be substituted for some one elses.

8.      Determination

V:  It’s what gets things done

R: This is something most people don’t have if they fail they are likely to give up.

I: If you don’t have it you, you don’t have it , it’s a trait that is hard to learn if you do not have it.

N: There is no substitute for determination.

9.      Money

V:  Money is used to finance all products and services.

R: Most people my age do not save enough for something like a business startup.

I: Can take a very long time to save.

N: There is no substitute for money.

10.  College Education

V: Gives you the knowledge and skills to pursue the goals you would like to achieve in life.

R: There are many people who do not achieve this goal or do not have the resources available to get higher education.

I: No two peoples college experiences are alike and gives a uniqueness to each student.

N: You can learn many useful tools in college besides just the course skills which makes it hard to substitute a college education.



Communication is key therefore is my important resource. Communication is very important for completing any job or task whether it’s to employees or customers the goals and outcomes should be clearly understood through good communication.

    Way to really break down all the resources composing your business. I can tell that you actually thought through each resource and evaluated its value to your business. You even got pretty specific and mentioned money, which is a huge part of starting your own business. Great job on this assignment!
